Many Christians are,
Sidelined by design.
Has God put them there
To rest, to think clearly
To hear Him more nearly?

Too much preaching
Hammering home a message,
Hiding a love so tender.
I am a tired Christian
Sidelined by His love!

Criticized am I!
No longer a christian soldier
Marching as to war

They tell me not to
Forsake the fellowship
Of the brethren
Just keep listening
to words repeated,
Doctrines buried in
Thoughtless graves,
Our mindless minds.

The Lord knows when
We are confused and warn, WORTV Worn
Tired of hearing reborn
Daily torn by inconsistencies

So many divided churches
In which to reside!
They are divorced
Teaching the divorced.
Who want to stay
Married to YOU

I stand harried
With stomach belching
Questions unasked
Obvious answers waiting
To escape my stomach
To breath fresh air
To see the light to day

I see birds flying
Singing the sun to rise
They don’t choose doctrine
They live it.

My heart asks why
A God who is called love
Threatens His Children
With a hell endless.

As they lay dying
In a muddy grave, bleeding.
Says the words, oh man,
of free will!

Forget that you are muddled
Rushed by goals
slammed into you,
not given
The blessing of old age
To think things through

You were never taught
To look into my loving eyes
No, you were caught
by death early, so sorry.

So, you brought me
To the sideline
With your Spirit to dine
Not on fine wine
But on bloody truth
That lays beyond
Devilish lies.

Limited is the meaning
Of AEON, not eternal
Why didn’t you tell me
Your love is limitless
Your punishment divine
Your cross complete

You let Jerome
And Augustine
Trade Your chosen Greek
For Latin’s limitless torture.
Such is a pagan truth
Which suited their animosity
for sin and dresssed You in it.
