FAITH IS EERIE
Faith is eerie
A kind of query
I want some science
Or is this my defiance
I never wanted
To faith
A giant leap?
Without a peep?
Into the the dark?
Does a cow bark?
I think I’m from Missouri
I will believe
I want to leave
For something more steady
Then there was
Jones, Indiana that is,
He stepped into
The abyss
That would have
made me piss
A handful of stones
Gave science to his leap
We can take
Only so much faith
We hunger to see
As We needs be.
Faith is a taunt
Of which many vaunt
It comes in life’s fox holes

FEELING THE PAIN
I feel pain
I feel pain
How do I regain
My ego reigning
Continue the feigning.
My ego reigning
Continue the feigning.
